The Snow has arrived

Its here! It started snowing this week so i dashed out to the shops and bought the kids suitable clothing to be able to have some fun. Last year Evie hated sledging and I think it was becasue she just got too cold. This year is a different story. We pulled the sledge around the field and she loved it.  Benji even had a try and thought it was great fun as well.  The other plus side to the snow this year is that I'm not 8 months pregnant and I can actually enjoy the snow instead of standing around watching everyone else have fun.    Today we got wrapped up and headed outside to make a snowman while Benjamin was asleep.  Evie thought is was great fun and now wants a snow family outside with Cats as well.
I'll let daddy build the rest of them.

Benjamins First Ride on a Sledge

I'm not big on Pink All-in-ones but it was the only colour they had in the shop. Evie loves it!!

The first of our Snowmen this year, I;m sure there will be many more to come.

Baby Benjamin

I love this photo I took today of Benjamin, the look on his face is precious. It just makes me think about how quickly this year has gone. Its November already and before I know it February will be here and Benji will turn 1 years old. I'm glad I get to try and capture little moments with my camera but I really wish sometimes that I had the power to make time stand still. This morning he woke up early and I brought him into our bed, within a minute he was fast asleep again. He wanted to fall asleep with his Mummy. I love the little times when he stops wriggling and wants to cuddle. Unlike his sister who is a daddys girl he really is a mummys boy.

The Favourites

Well there you are - my favourite photos from Rachael and Stuarts wedding.  I think some of them could do with a little atttention on Photoshop. Maybe that can be my project for the weekend.

Wedding Photos

A small selection of Wedding Photos, I took so many photos but I only really like a handful of them. I'll post my favourites seperately.

Halloween Fun

A cheeky little girl decorating her halloween biscuits.

Halloween crept up on us this year. As we had been in Germany the week leading up to Halloween we didn't get chance to carve our pumpkins until the day before. Evie enjoyed decorating biscuits and hollowing out her pumpkin with friends during the day. Then in the evening Richard showed off his pumpkin carving skills by creating his own masterpiece. Its the best pumpkin he has carved ever!  On the 30th we were also able to go to a church activity 'Truck or Treat' where Evie and her little friends went trick or treating around the boots of peoples cars.  We had a great time dressing up and even went trick or treating to our friends homes on our journey back from the church.  All in all a great halloween even if I didn't get the cards made this year!!

My candy corn wreath, I'm hoping it will keep for next year so I don't have to make another one.
It was hard gluing the candy corn on to the wreath when I really wanted to eat it all.  It tastes sooo GOOD!

Our spooky pumpkins. Richards, Mine and Evies. Evie wanted hers to be Bob the Blob from the Monsters Vs Aliens Movie.
Below are the many sides to Richards Pumpkin. He really did out do himself this year.

Our trick or treating costumes - Mrs Potato Head, Mini Buzz Lightyear and Woody and Jessie
A very cute Mr and Mrs Potato Head

Ham and Slinky Dog (without his slinky)  and Benji enjoying his first Lollipop.

We roasted Pumpkin seeds to eat - They tasted good.

My first attempt at dinner in a pumpkin.  It must have been good as Richard rated it in his top 5 meals that I cook! I really think thats because I put a little too much sugar in.
