At only 5 weeks old I can already see little Benjamins character growing. He is such a cute baby but then I would say that! As he is gettting bigger I can see alot of Evie in him, they have the same eyes although Bens are staying blue.

Back to School
These past two Saturdays my Dad and I have been back to school on a Digital SLR Photogrpahy Course.
Although we didn't fully understand eveything the instructor was saying it was still a good experience playing with our cameras and having a go.
In the two sessions we were taught alot about different settings on our cameras. Alot of it went over my head and I will need sometime to play around and practice. However one thing I did understand and have mastered is depth of field. I love the three pictures below of the lego trucks. They really show how you can change the depth of field in photographs.
We also practiced changing the shutter speed to capture light trails and to try and freeze moving objects.
the guy in the photos below is the course instructor,

Red Paint = Lipstick
Looking good, slighlty mis-applied the lipstick, I think the brush may have been a bit too big.
This little madam is learning how to pose when the camera is around. I hope the novelty doesn't wear off as I love trying capture her childhood.

The Girl with the Pearl Necklace
So I went on a little Primarni/ H&M trip this week and came home with a few goodies for myself and Evie. Evie came off far better than I did from the trip, wearing her new dress and cardigan she then decided to claim my new red shoes as her own and the big pearl necklace, I couldn't stop her as she looked so cute!
Little Ben had no idea what was going on and was very lucky his Big Sis didn't try to make him wear the pearls too.
The sun has come out
After a long cold winter the sun finally reappeared this week. That doesn't mean it was warm but it did mean that it was dry enough to venture out to the park. We had a great time until we had to leave and Evie screamed....she loves the park so much that I could just set her up a tent there are she would stay forever. I had to promise to take her to the park again later in the week to get her to leave on Wednesday then when we had to leave a different park again on Friday she screamed till I promised to take her again next week. We are going to be experts on all the local parks and playgrounds at this rate.
