Benjamin Richard Cave

Our new arrival decided to appear on Thursday 11th Feb at 2.03am. Weighing a healthy 8lb 2 and a half oz.
Its strange adjusting to having a little one around again.  We really had forgotten how big Evie had grown until Benjamin arrived. He is so small next to his Giant of a big sister.  Evie is the ever proud big sister and loves giving Ben kisses and cuddles.  Whenever he cries she rushes over to check that every thing is okay.  Richard and I are adjusting to the sleepless nights.  I don't remember being awake so often with Evie and think that I was really bless to have such a good  little sleeper the first time round that or i've just forgotten what it was really like!.  I am sure that in the next few weeks we will all get into a good routine with sleeps, feeds and poops.

I am really thankful for my little family, I love all of them and could not imagine what life would be like without my little boy and girl and or course the big boy in my life as well.

Soft Drinks/ Soda/ Fizzy Pop

No matter what you call them there are certain drinks that always tickle your taste buds. For me its Inca Kola from Peru. I've never managed to buy it anywhere other than Peru so haven't been able to sip the sweet tasting drink for a long time now. While in Grenada we discovered Ting - a great Caribbean drink. For a while you could buy it in Tesco here in England and we enjoyed the taste of the Caribbean here in the UK. I've not seen it being sold for a while now so that's another 'soda' we will pine for. Richard's 'Achilles Heel' if you can call it that is Mountain Dew. He turned 29 this week and as a birthday treat received cans of Mountain Dew from some of our friends. I wish I could have had the camera handy as he sipped the sweet nectar. It really was a picture! He is now planning how often to have a can in order to make it last as long as possible. The things we crave Mountain Dew, Inka Kola and Ting!

Not so patiently waiting.....

These pictures were taken with only 3 days left till the expected arrival. I feel huge, exhausted, emotional and my back is killing me! Hopefully in a few days I'll not be so huge but still exhausted and emotional! Wish me luck.

Shoes.....

After Christmas there are always huge sales and you know how I love to shop. This year being 8 months pregnant has really hampered my shopping in the sales, not because I couldn't get into the shops and push my way to the racks but more because I couldn't tell if anything would fit once the bump had gone. With this causing a big problem and still having the desire to shop I was forced down the Shoe route. Needless to say 6,7 or 8 pairs later and not a lot of money spent I felt like my sales shopping needs had been fulfilled.
This week Evie and I decided to have a mini shoe party and play dress up with our new shoes. She may take after her Daddy in somethings but definitely has her Mummy's talent for shopping and dressing up. We had a great time and even debated over getting the bags out as well.
