Thanksgiving

So we decided as we have so many friends from America staying in England at this time of year that we would host a thanksgiving dinner. We had a great time eating a lot of food and learning more about the American Holiday. We may have to make it our own family tradition as well.
Richard carved his first turkey, after I had cooked my first turkey. The Sweet Potatoes (yams) topped with marshmallows were a real treat. I have been craving them ever since!

Finally we have a new bathroom

So I thought I would try out Smilebox to display our latest adventure. We had our bathroom ripped out and replaced, it was definitely fun living with only a toilet for nearly two weeks. We are just glad Richards parents are only 5 minutes away!! The bathroom isn't finished yet but its a great deal better than it was.

70's Disco Night

On Friday we celebrate several birthdays by having a 70's Disco night. The evening was really organised for my birthday and our friends Matt and Maria's birthdays as well. I know I had a great time and wonder why we don't do this sort of thing more often.

My Birthday

Well today I started the last year of my 20's. It feels a little frightening the thought of being cloaser to 30, the numbers change but you still feel the same. I celebrated by starting the day with a Tai Chi class which was amusing as i've never tried it before. Then we took Evie down to the park and practiced her powt.
