The UK has been hit by snow showers for the last few days. It started snowing the week before Christmas and although it didn't snow alot the show has never melted as its soooooo cold!! This week however we have been hit with more snow, thousands of schools have been closed across the UK. Some of the small village shops are running out of essential supplies. Several roads are close and the motorways that are open only have one lane clear and traffic is moving very slowly.

The second Snowman that we watched Daddy build from the window. The novelty of having snow had not worn off. We now have over double the amount we had then.

Another ride on the sledge around the street.I am very grateful for a few things at this time.
1 - Richard works close to home and is able to get to work safely using major roads.
2 - We have plenty of food so no need to panic buy!
3 - Evie really doesn't like to be in the cold for too long so we are both happy indoors keeping warm.
4 - Our central heating is in good working order so we can keep the house warm. Although I'm not looking forward to the bills we will get in a months time!

Love the pic of the nativity that I gave you. Don't tell Evie about this but in Colombia we celebrate the day of the wisemen on January
7th. Some families give their kids presents on that day. The sleigh looks so much fun. So central heating huh....are you becoming "americanized"? haha
Richard watch Dora the Explorer the other day and it was all about the wise men visiting on the 7th!! Luckily Evie didn't understand.
